In honor of Read Across America, the Carson City Library will be releasing literacy and activity videos every Saturday in March and first week of April for our virtual Family Reading Program series.

Through a partnership with the Northern Nevada Literacy Council (NNLC), the Carson City Library helps families read and learn together. This program enables parents to improve their children's literacy skills and model positive family literacy behaviors at home. The Library is also introducing families to Mind in the Making which focuses on seven essential life skills every child needs as well as Vroom, a free app for parents to help practice these skills in everyday life.
