Women's History Month: How Nevada Women Won the Vote In-Person
For ages 18+ and high school students:
This talk, led by Deanna Beachley, traces the campaign and strategies employed in the Nevada suffrage campaign. This focuses especially on the role of the Nevada Equal Franchise Society and the efforts of Anne Martin and others in the last years of the campaign. This presentation is in honor of Women's History Month and the 100th Anniversary of the ratification of the 19th Ammendment.
This program is made possible through the Nevada Women's Suffrage Celebration Committee.
