Are you a book lover looking to make new friends? For the month of May we will be reading "My First Summer in the Sierra" by John Muir. Email creativelearning@carsoncitylibrary.org to receive an invite to join this program online via Zoom.
This program is part of Capital City Reads, a city-wide community read of My First Summer in the Sierra by John Muir. This book is a nature-writing classic that showcases the mountain range we see to the west of Carson City every day. Copies of My First Summer in the Sierra will be available on Overdrive. Funding provided by Friends of the Carson City Library and the Carson City Cultural Commission.
