Family Reading Program In-Person
For PRE-K: Children not yet in elementary school and families.
Through a partnership with the Northern Nevada Literacy Council (NNLC), the Carson City Library helps families read and learn together. This program enables parents to improve their children's literacy skills and model positive family literacy behaviors at home. Each family registered will receive a free book. Each child will get to participate in an art or science activity.
Registration is required for all children and adults attending the program.
Please note: Children 9 and under must be accompanied by a caregiver of at least 13 years of age at all times.
