In collaboration with St. Teresa of Avila Church, the Carson City Library will be having an English and Spanish bilingual story time in the Chartz Hall after the 1:00 pm bilingual mass on May 20th. This event will help promote and encourage early literacy skills and inspire reading in both English and Spanish for those who want to expose their children to other languages. It is also an opportunity to welcome our Spanish-speaking community and showcase Spanish materials, programs and services. 

We will be reading a story in Spanish, followed by a story in English with singalongs and a fun activity!

En colaboración con la Iglesia St. Teresa de Avila, la Biblioteca de Carson City servirá de anfitriona del programa de cuentos bilingües en español e inglés en Chartz Hall después de la misa bilingüe de la 1:00 de la tarde el 20 de Mayo. Este evento ayudará a promover y fomentar las habilidades de lectoescritura temprana e inspirará la lectura tanto en inglés como en español para aquellos que quieran exponer a sus hijos a otros idiomas. También es una oportunidad para dar la bienvenida a nuestra comunidad de habla hispana y mostrar materiales, programas y servicios en español.

Leeremos un cuento en español seguido por un cuento en inglés con canciones y una actividad divertida!
