Sewing & Textile Workshop In-Person

Let's explore and learn several techniques to machine hem fabric! Hemming is a valuable sewing method used to finish the edge of any fabric to prevent unraveling. This method may be desired or even necessary in any given sewing project.  In this workshop you will learn several ways to hem fabric and what their best applications may be.

Participants are welcome and encouraged to bring an item they'd like to hem, such as pants, skirt, dress, home linens, etc. Attendees may also bring thread for their specific item. There is no requirement to bring your own project, all practice materials will be provided for this workshop.

A Premiere card is required to attend this class, information on how to upgrade to this card type can be found here.

It is required to complete a Sewing & Textile Certification Class before participating in this workshop. This includes those experienced with sewing!

Ages 14+ can attend. A single 10-13 year old must be accompanied by a certified premiere card holder to attend.
