REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED TO ENSURE THAT WE HAVE ENOUGH SUPPLIES! Please note that this program will be held at the Children's Museum, 813 N Carson St, Carson City, NV 89701. Participants will need to check in at the front desk, the program will be held on the stage. If you wish to stay and play at the museum you will need to pay the admissions fee, unless you have a museum membership. 

Through a partnership with Northern Nevada Literacy Council, the Carson City Library will be offering a monthly Storytime and Craft. Each family will receive a free book. Each child that is registered will get to participate in an art or science activity. Come read, sing, dance, play and learn with us!

Family Reading Program (FRP) is a free literacy project that offers easy-to-learn tips for parents about how to read books with children to support children’s literacy. We can show parents how to:

• Build children’s vocabularies
• Reinforce the literacy instruction children receive at school
• Build home libraries with free, age-appropriate books
• Incorporate literacy techniques into home learning
