REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED TO ENSURE THAT WE HAVE ENOUGH SUPPLIES!

Through a partnership with Northern Nevada Literacy Council, the Carson City Library will be offering a monthly Storytime and Craft.

Each family will receive a free book. Each child that is registered will get to participate in an art or science activity.

Family Reading Program (FRP) is a free literacy project that offers easy-to-learn tips for parents about how to read books with children to support children’s literacy. We can show parents how to:

• Build children’s vocabularies
• Reinforce the literacy instruction children receive at school
• Build home libraries with free, age-appropriate books
• Incorporate literacy techniques into home learning
