NASA@ My Library: STEM Arcade - Aviation In-Person

Forces of Flight, Live a Life in the Clouds with Aviation- Experimental Aircraft Association Chapter 403 introduces the 4 forces of flight and the Great Paper Airplane Race. Fred Webb, Air force Captain and retired United Commercial Pilot will share his lifetime career with aviation and knowledge of fulfilling your dreams.  Michelle Wise Bellard, JPL Solar System Ambassador and educator, will share the forces that make planes fly with an interactive paper airplane race.   EAA 403 is a community organization responsible for the local Young Eagles program, a program designed to give students ages 9-17 their first flights and experience with aeronautical careers.

We will end this program with a segment on drones and participants will be able to learn how to fly one on their own! This program is part of NASA@ My Library, an initiative to engage public audiences nationwide in informal and lifelong learning with the excitement of NASA exploration and discovery.
