Book Tasting for Capital City Reads 2017: Building a Better Community In-Person
The Carson City Library is hosting a ‘Book Tasting’ for Capital City Reads on Friday, April 7th from 5:00-6:00 PM.
This year's Capital City Reads program features a selection of books centered around the theme of Building a Better Community. The "Book Tasting" is an event for adults 21 and older to view several of these books at the library. The participants will have an opportunity to preview the books and rate them according to the book’s cover, description, and a brief excerpt. And it is not only the books they will get to ‘taste’. The Carson City Friends of the Library will be providing wine and appetizers for participants. A limited number of certain titles will be available for participants to take home and read, other titles will be available for checkout with a library card.
