Located in the @Two Digital Learning Center (second floor of the library) lies an innovative space with multiple Collaboration Rooms available for public use that can be reserved for gatherings, such as small meetings, tutoring sessions, or study groups.

Collaboration Room 1:

  • Groups of 1-6 people

  • Television monitor that may be connected to a laptop for presentations

  • HDMI cable

Collaboration Room 2:

  • Groups of 2-8 people: Sitting room around the table is limited to approximately 6. Additional chairs to accommodate up to 8 are located in the room. No additional chairs can be moved into the room.

Collaboration Room 3:

  • Groups of 2-10 people: Sitting room around the table is limited to approximately 8. Additional chairs to accommodate up to 10 are located in the room.  No additional chairs can be moved into the room.

Room Reservation Information: 

  • The rooms will be open for use by library patrons during regular library business hours for gatherings, such as small meetings, tutoring sessions, or study groups.

  • The rooms are not soundproof, and speech will travel outside the space.

  • At least one member of the group must have a current library card, in good standing, to reserve the room.

  • An email address is required to reserve a room.

  • Organizations must file a certification of liability with the library before utilizing the meeting rooms.

  • Reservations can be made up to 1 day before a meeting by utilizing the LibCal scheduling tool located on the @Two Digital Learning Center webpage under Spaces: http://carsoncitylibrary.libcal.com/booking/collaborationrooms

  • Rooms may be reserved and utilized up to 3 times per week, for a maximum of 2 hours per day.

  • If the group has not arrived 15 minutes after the scheduled reservation, the reservation will be canceled and the room will become available to others.

  • Same-day reservations will be accepted on a first-come-first-serve basis.

  • Reservations cannot be made more than 3 months in advance, with the exception of library programming.

  • If Collaboration Room 1 is available, brief cell phone calls may be taken by reserving the room. Brief cell phone calls are not to be taken in Collaboration Room 2 or 3.

  • Patrons must schedule a room through the library website. For support call the @Two Help Desk at 775-283-7594 or visit the @Two Help Desk in person (on the second floor).

 

To reserve a room:

  • Using the calendar below, select the date that you want to reserve the room on.
  • Then, click on the time frame that you want to reserve under the date. Available times will be noted in green. Times that are noted in red are unavailable.
  • You must agree to the Terms & Conditions for Use of Collaboration Rooms to reserve one of the library's collaboration rooms by clicking on Continue.
  • Complete the Booking Details form and click Submit my Booking.
  • You must confirm your booking through an email link sent by LibCal.
